Tier 2 General - Extension

Good Afternoon ,
I changed my visa status from Tier 1 PSW to Tier 2 General in 2014.

As my visa is expiring by mid September 2017, If my employer requests HO for issuing cos next week through SMS how long it will take to allocate so I could make my application for extension.

CoS allocation could take as long as two months and sometimes just two weeks. If you want it urgently, your sponsor can use the premier service where they will have to pay £200 or so to get the CoS allocation quickly.
You don't have to wait till last minute to make your visa extension. Check that your sponsor has CoS to issue you and if they don't let them request immediately.
