SS route and child born in uk

Hello everyone my sister in law recently moved to uk using SS route in 2016. She is British national by her father and was born and grown up Netherlands. Her husband is non EU national. Now they will have kid soon. Question is can they register their child as British ?

If child is born in the UK, then child is automatically British.
