Switch Study Visa to Critical Skills Work Permit

Post by shpirtshqipe » Fri Aug 18, 2017 11:41 pm

Hi all

Sorry if this question has been asked before but I wanted a more up to date feedback please

My cousin (non-EU) is planing to study nursing in Ireland self funded.

I know a lot can change in the next 4 years however I wanted to get a general feel of the current situation before making any decisions.

My question is. On successful completion of the Nursing degree would she be able to apply under the Critical Skills programme and consequently change from a study to work permit visa (all this without her needing to leave Ireland)?

Any feedback or experiences shared will be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

if she get 30000/year job plus company is willing to sponsor her. not easy here nw to get work permit. before u show 30000/year on takaway and get it, now nt possible.
