Visit visa for 2 years

Hi There,

My mum applied family visitor visa in India for 2 years. However, only 6months was granted without any explanation.

She's been in the Uk visiting me couple of times before. I checked guidelines on ukba's web site, believe she met every enquiry and entitled for 2 years.

please suggest me do I need to contact British High Commission to review again or any suggestions please let me know.

It's the UKVI's choice, their decision, there is no 'entitlement'.

Has she been visiting the UK in the normally accepted meaning of the word, or been using it as a part-time residence visa?
