Hi Everyone,
Hope you all doing good,
Would you please help me out from below mentioned query -
Recently blessed with baby girl in UK and baby name register in local council and received birth certificate and with same name register in consulate general of India, Birmingham.
Now I am planning to apply for first passport for my baby to go India.
My Query - Because of cultural background and other reason we want to change the first name of my daughter before applying a new passport. My local council agreed to amend her first name and agreed to issue a new birth certificate with new name. Now I am applying for a first passport.
1. Would be ok if I fill the application with new name and submit it as a proof of birth certificate received from local council after name change amendment.
2.Now, the certificate received from consulate general of India, Birmingham and local council issued new birth certificated will be not matching, does this would be any issue while applying passport.
3.Is it possible to re-apply/amend name for citizen again in consulate general of India, Birmingham for changing the name before I go for passport.
I know its very hard, Thanks
Please do needful,
Best Regards,
Dilip
