Hi Everyone, looking for some advice..
My boyfriends visa expires the 28th of August. He was going to get a work visa, but he would have had to return to Venezuela (where he comes from) and unfortunately he got admitted to Hospital last week and is going to be there for the unforeseeable future.
We were thinking of extending his current Tier 4 visa under the FLR (HRO) under medical illness as he will most likely have to have Chemotherapy for the next 6 months. Back in Venezuela there is a economic crisis where there is no food or medicine so ideally he would need to stay here and get his treatment. We know he wont be able to travel for a month minimum as the doctors told him he couldnt because of the biopsy procedure he had.
We would like to know what documents would he need to put in as evidence:
-We are getting three of his doctors in the hospital write a letter regarding his condition plus saying that he cant travel and will be in the hospital for the unforeseeable future.
-We are getting some articles speaking regarding the situation in Venezuela and the lack of medicine supply to give the cancer treatment.
-We are also getting a few doctors in Venezuela to write letters urging the government to give him an extension because of the situation in venezuela
-I will give my bank statements and payslips (I am on a Tier 2 General visa) as I will be providing for him while he is here. Should we get his parents bank statements as well?
What else should I try to put in as evidence to support his application?
thank you!
