Tier 2 General v/s Shortage Occupation

Hi Experts,

I am on tier 2 General visa. My SOC code is 2135 which is in Short Occupation list and my employer also mark this as Short Occupation in SOC but when I applied for my visa I applied as Tier 2 General not short Occupation. I want to ask is my still count as shortage Occupation job. Is there any long term disadvantage apply visa not in Short Occupation.

When you made your tier 2 visa application, you would have come across this question -

Is your job with xxxxxxx on the shortage occupation list?

Did you tick Y or N?

But I have paid normal fee not short occupation.
