Tier 2 General Curtailment Letter- Employer License expired

Post by Vasieee » Wed Aug 23, 2017 7:30 pm

Hi All,

Can somebody give me a advise on my situation please. I got a curtailment letter today from home office stating that Sponsor Licence for my employer has expired. I am going to speak to my HR tomorrow to see why they have not renewed.
My Question is what if they renew the licence does my current visa can still valid or do i need to make a new application?

Thank you in Advance.

Your visa becomes invalid the day your sponsor licence expired. Unfortunately, you have to leave the UK (within 60 days as mentioned in the curtailment letter) or make a fresh application.

I'm guessing you will have to make a fresh application even if your sponsor renews their licence since you've already received the curtailment letter.
