Tier 2 visa curtailment out of country

I had a tier 2 visa for 2 years from october 2016 to end of September 2018 with cos and went to the uk and received my brp but then i didn't commence my job due to registration issues and my cos was withdrawn so i left the country 28 october 2016 now i received an email letter from the home office on 27th of august 2017 that my visa was curtailed and that i would have to leave the country before 25 october 2017 because that was the new expiration date or i would have to get a new application with a new cos now my question here is
i . Can i enter the uk with my brp since its expiration date is still in october and find a new job and apply for another visa from the uk or since i left the country my brp would already be cancelled ?
ii . If my visa was cancelled when does my colling off period end ( that i left the uk on 27th of october 2016) and how do i prove it and what should i do while making the new tier 2 visa after the period is over ?

Thank you so much for your reply .. do you think i could take a visitor visa ( general 6 months ) and enter with it because i need to do ID check with GMC?? Or will that be refused ? The HO letter stated that i would need visa to enter the uk .. wbat kind of visa shiuld that be ?

Type of visa depends on purpose of entry.
