Letter from Home Office as evidence of cohabitation

Post by manilondon10 » Sun Aug 27, 2017 4:02 pm

Hi,

My wife will be applying for FLRM extension in September next month. In order to meet the cohabitation requirement we will be providing 1 joint letter along with 5 items each [for my wife and for myself]. The issue we're having is that we are unable to find any letter in my wife's name other than a letter from Home Office in year 2015. Does anyone know if letter from Home Office themselves will be acceptable for this purpose?

thanks

You are required to submit either:
6 pieces of evidence in joint names
OR
6 pieces each in single names.

These should be from at least 3 different sources and cover the full 2.5 year qualifying period. General guidance is one (or two if in single names) every 4-5 months.

Any item with name, date and postcode is acceptable (including the HO letter).
