Hi all,
My fiance is from the states and we are working through the Fiance Visa right now.
I have been with my employer for 11 months now, it will be 12 by the time the application is submitted.
My employers pay system is quite different from others and I am not sure what category I fall under in terms of my pay structure.
I am on an different hourly rates (shop open rates, shop closed rates travel rates, customers house rate etc), and earn a lot of commission and bonuses on top of this. Each of those rates, bonuses and commission types are all stated in my payslips quite clearly and I am paid my hourly rates, commissions and bonuses on a monthly bases.
The problem is I don't know if I am a category A - non-salaried income (because I am on an hourly rates), or if I am category B - variable income (because I have been with the employer for more than 6 months and my hourly rate, commission and bonuses varies each month).
For example, here is an overview of what I have earned this month gross:
Hourly rates (combined): £1042
Commission: £362
Bonuses (combined): £431
Total: £1835
I know I earn more than enough to meet the £18,600, but because my pay structure is more complex, I don't know what category of employment I fall under. Could somebody please help?
Many thanks,
Peter
