Tier 2 dependent document - certified passport / BRP required?

Post by skyskier » Tue Aug 29, 2017 5:09 pm

Hi all,

I am holding Tier 2 general visa, and now applying Tier2 dependent visa for my spouse and child.
The agency asked me to get my passport and BRP certified for my spouse / kid's application.
But it would be too late if I get the certification and send it back.

So is it really required to use certified passport / BRP in the dependent visa application process? Can they just use normal passport / BRP copies, or I have to reschedule their arrival date to UK?

Thank you very much in advance!!

As per my understanding, certified copies are not mandatory. Plain copies of passport and BRP should suffice.
