PND not declared

Post by Bengali1985 » Thu Aug 31, 2017 2:28 am

Hi,
I have submitted my British citizenship application through NCS on 23/8/2017. On Good character section I didn't declare a PND (£90 fine) which I received on 01/02/2014. Reason I didn't mention the PND was that in application form they wrote PND will be disregarded if it was paid on time and if a person doesn't receive numerous of these.
Yesterday I came to know from my friend that I should have disclosed it and my application likely to be refused for deception as I didn't disclose my PND. Yesterday I received Home office acknowledgement with a case ID through email. Now my humble question to senior members and moderators is that can I inform home office now about my PND as only 1 week have past the submission date? If I have to, which address should I use to notify them? Thanks in advance

Is it penalty notice for disorder? If yes, then in my opinion, you should have declared it however old it was. Wait for others to comment and it's definitely not too late to inform them if you decide to.

Note: There is a difference between PCN & PND.

You have been advised. The longer you leave the more chances of Home Office picking this. Why take a risk?

Hi

I have a penalty notice for disorder which I have received about 9-10 years ago.I have paid the fine on the next day. Now, I have already submitted my application for naturalisation but have not declared this incident. Should I worry? I only just remembered it and as result I haven't declared in my permanent leave to remain application either. Please advise! Thanks!!
