Lack of acknowledgement email- applied in Vietnam

Hi forum,
I applied on the 24th of August and haven't had my acknowledgement email from UKVI yet, unlike most others here (or so it seems). I'm just wondering if anyone is in a similar position since the email often indicates the start of the consideration process.
I've also noticed that many of the applications are made from Pakistan or India. Mine is from Vietnam and perhaps they do things differently in the area so I would appreciate if some applicants in neighboring countries share their point of view, however definitely contribute where possible regardless.
