Applying from Morocco: supporting docs and apostille

Post by mthomas » Sun Sep 03, 2017 3:23 pm

Hi everyone.

I've read that some people submit supporting docs such as marriage certificate certified & apostille when collecting their docs from morocco.

Is the apostille necessary? I have my marriage certificate translated from arabic to English by a certified translator recommended by the British embassy website. Also there's no mention of having your docs apostilled in the supporting documents pdf supplied by the gov website.

The original marriage certificate, together with the English translation will be sufficient.

Thanks Casa, the whole apostille thing just confuses matters I think.

Not required if this is translated into English by a certified translator.
