Employees from two separate businesses

Post by Roofi » Mon Sep 04, 2017 12:19 am

Dear members,

I want to get your valuable feedback on the following.

I have received my tier 1 entrepreneur (50K) visa extension already now my focus is on 5 year ILR application.

I have two businesses (Self employed and company). First one is graduate level and second one is non-graduate level business. I used only graduate level business during extension.

At the moment, my both businesses have employees. First business has 1 full time employee 2nd business has two part time employees.

Now my questions are,

Can I include employees from these two separate businesses in my 5 year ILR application in order to claim points for job creation?

Will HO consider employees from non-graduate level business which was not shown during extension and also where investment was not made?

Many thanks

they will consider employees from two different businesses, where the second business does not have an investements.
When you say non graduate level, what sort of business is this ? Anything to do with food, retail, taxi etc?

The non-graduate business is dealing mainly in wholesale but recently along with wholesale I have started few services which are graduate level.

Now we deal in,

Wholesale, procurement & buying assistants

Last two services are graduate level

you should be okay. as I have seen on this case wholesale seems to be okay. but teh following case has other exceptions, you may ignore that. wholesale on this link appears to be alright.

Its the role that you play should fall in the soc code that is accepted as a graduate level. So anything 4 and above designation should be alright. The seniors will comment, please do ask them as well. CR001, Marcnath, Zimba . their opinion is good.

There is no requirement on graduate level for extension or ILR. RQF levels are only part of initial application.
There are no problems combining jobs from different businesses - whether shown before or not.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.
