Regularising my stay in the uk

Post by Mancho » Tue Sep 05, 2017 12:27 am

I'm a Zimbabwean national and came to the uk on a 2 year student visa in 2004.after that I renewed for an extended and was given another year.but after that in 2007 when I tried to extend for a second time ,I was refused.at that time things where not alright politically back in Zimbabwe so I decided to claim asylum.i was refused as not being credible and I appealed but to no avail.i made a second appeal after but haven't heard anything from the home office on their decision. Now years later I have been in the country for 13years and I'm in a relationship with a British national for two years now and we want to get married but the problem the only form of id I have is an arc card that I was given when I made my asylum application.would they accept this as a form of id at the registry and am I eligible to get married.my girlfriend has been supporting me ever since and I have never claimed government funds.what are my chances that in the end they will give me a stay after all
