Tier 1 Extension in Process & Home Office Raided

Hi,

I applied for a extension last month, after giving biometric I didn't get any letter from UKBA. Yesterday 3 officers came to my house and also on the same time they been to my partner house. unfortunately we both were not at home and they left a letter to book a appointment for a interview.

I have a office address too but they came to house for a interview. I am runnning a company for the last 4 years with 5 british full time employees.

Is there any body else who got same experience?

Why they raided?
Have they mentioned any reason for that?
You living with family?
Any immigration problems in past?
They don't come to house until there is very serious reason.
Do you think you have been reported?
It happened before when someone was doing taxi and he were reported.
I know many people who are living on FLR(o) and their cases has been already refused but they don't have this problem.

I don't have any bad history in the past, they been to my office first but they were not able to find out the address due to newly build area, but we were living 5 min drive from the office.

They did mention in letter too that we were not able to find out the office. My Mrs asked them about visit and they said it's a part of procedure and random checks.

Also I am not doing any thing dodgy, so I don't care if any one reported. I wasn't working for any company before I was self employed before I got tier1. It's mostly happens if some ones working and pretending to be a genuine ent.

They normally send email before visiting office.

They raided me 2.5 years ago, it was 8 people on a bank holiday,1 female 7 male, i was at home, they checked every thing in my house, i mean any documents they found at home they thoroughly looked at it, bank statements even my credit card and debit cards etc, it was 2 hours in total, they interviewed my wife as well in a separate room, they asked her what business your husband has, when he goes to work, how many employee, where is the office etc, they asked me details about my business, my business contracts, and office address, they gave me an appointment date to bring all the business documents, also they contacted the companies i had business contracts to confirm if my company provides any business services to them or not, on my interview date they took all my documents and asked me to wait in a waiting area, after 5 hours they returned my documents and apologised for inconvenience. they did get confirmation from my business contracts that i do provide business services to them.
I was on Tier 1 entrepreneur visa 50K (initial visa)

this is really strange .. what has happened to UKVI.. why they are doing this ... I mean there must be a reason... .but this is very unusual.................. hope all goes well with evybody...!! hope for the best

Same thing happened with one of the person I know but he was reported by his landlord because he was doing taxi at that time.
They found that he is doing taxi and curtailed hi visa.
Now he is here on humanitarian grounds.

I applied 11th April, I gave them a call today and they re-arrange my interview 21st Sep in Hounslow and my partner in Sheffield.

so u guys are going to goo all the way thr.. omg thats tbh very strange.. as they should either come to ur office or call at same place ( like same centre) ... but u never know with UKVI it depends on their mood,. i hope all goes well and u still have lot of time to prepare urself, what kind of business u have.keep updating us.. take care

Interview goes really well they asked me about 40-45 questions, right from the day i arrived in Uk and till now. questions were based on
-reason of coming to UK
-educational background
-Collages and University I been to
-My Partner details regarding how we planned to start together
-where I work in the past, companies details and role
-how I managed to get investment (I took all my P60 during my PSW time) + proof of money trasnfer to UK -from Pakistan
-my clients information
-they already called my 4 clients and got confirmation from them
-how i recruited my employees
-my office last 3 years leases / business rates / rent
+ all other different questions relates to my business.

I took all the paper work with me, which she kept all. more a like same interview from my partner.

They called 2 clients last week and 2 yesterday. You can expect them any time to get confirmation, bcz 3 officers interviewed me.

How they got information about your clients last week?
Did you provide them any information when you booked your interview?

I did mention in my covering letter about nature of business, as a Accountant firm with around 10 clients with a turn over of min £10000 each client a year for the past 3-4 years.

As I didn’t attached any extra documents with a application so they might took information from my company website.
