Effect ofClaiming child and working tax credit while Eea2 application pending

Hi
I am a EEA national and i am working in Uk since last three years as part time. My husband is non EEA national. We are married from last five years and we have three childeren. My husband is subject to immigration and he is going to sign in every two months. The home office has refused my husband residence card application and now we have appeal against home office decesion in court. My husband is looking for job and i am working part time. It is too difficult for us to manage things in my job. I want to know that if we apply for child tax credit and working tax credit, does it will effect on my husband case. I am working 24 hour a week.
