Non EEA dependant and housing benefit

Post by Alekky04 » Fri Sep 08, 2017 8:15 am

Hi members,

Would a NON EEA national 30 yrs old who claimed housing benefit for up to 6 months be refused permanent residence after residing in U.K. For continuous period of 5years? They continued to received financial support and essential needs from their dad (EEA) national through this period but don't have physical evidence of this as it over 4yrs ago. What is the law on this? On the EEA(PR) form there is a section 16 asking if one has claimed any state benefit.

Thank you in advance for your support-
