Tier 2 CoS Allocation Increase - How Long ?

Post by andyc2001 » Fri Sep 08, 2017 4:23 pm

Hi,
Our company recently has had its Visa Sponsorship application approved - which came through in three weeks, much faster than the UKVI stated "80% are completed within eight weeks". Our request for one CoS (Certificate of Sponsorship) within the Visa Sponsorship application was not awarded because we were only part way through our RLMLT (resident labour market test). Now the RLMT has been done and we need a CoS Allocation Increase. I know how to do this through the SMS, however, on contacting UKVI they said this can take up to 18 weeks to come through, but that it can be fast-tracked using a paid-for priority service (taking 5 days).

Does anybody have any information about how long a standard CoS Allocation Increase might take in practice ?

Thanks,
