financial requirement for Dependant Child Settlement

Hello. I am in the same position as ukinoz -- I am a British citizen by descent with an Australian child and I would like to know:

if I can access housing benefits with her as a dependent whilst I am apply for, and without endangering, her I LR visa

Are you due to apply for ILR for your child? How long have they been resident in the UK?

Are they in the UK on a settlement visa?
