British passport - is it sent by Royal mail?

Post by kittley » Sat Sep 09, 2017 8:44 pm

Hello

I'm currently waiting for the outcome of my naturalisation application. The online status has changed to "decided" on the 2nd September so I anticipate to receive the outcome letter very soon. Is the passport sent by royal mail? I applied for the passport via jcap along with my naturalisation application back in April. I'm moving to a new address in a couple of weeks so want to make sure it'll be covered by the royal mail post re-direction. Thanks

They will send the passport by courier service. Normally its DX couriers. You will need to let HMPO about the change of address.

Thank you. Would you happen to know if there is an email address to let them know my new address? The forms in the website refers to applicants who has a BRP or visa and I'm an Eu national so don't think this applies to me.
