Applying for Visa after CoS start date?

I have just been assigned my CoS for a Tier 2 (general) visa. However today is 13 Sept and the CoS start date is 1 Sept.

I am just in process of applying for my visa and planning to arrive 1 November. I have seen problems with people trying to arrive too soon before the start date, but will I have a problem arriving two months after the start date?

I understand a CoS is valid for 3 months after the day it was assigned. But does it matter that I am applying even though the start date has already lapsed?

I'm in a similar situation with a CoS start date listed that might be sooner than the date my visa will be processed.

Can anyone comment on whether this will cause an issue with the visa application approval?

Should I contact my employer and see if they can move the start date on the CoS to later, after the visa application is likely to be reviewed?

it wont be a problem.
however, the employer can add a note in the cos notes to reflect the proposed new start date.
