I think my situation is quite complicated and hopefully someone could give me some advices.
I am ready to apply the Tier 2 visa in my country, and my girlfriend is going to apply the dependent visa.
Up to my understanding, my dependent is required to provide criminal record certificate from any country she has lived in for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. She had lived in China, studied in U.K and worked in Hong Kong for more than 12 months over the past 10 years.
My questions are:
1. She is now working in Hong Kong, and how does she get the those certificates in other countries, especially in U.K? I think it is difficult for her to find any letter showing her address in U.K last time.
2. If she can not collect all the certificates required (for example, unable to get the one from U.K or China), what can she do for the application of dependent visa? I notice that she can write the letter for explaining the case. So what should be included in this letter for convincing the HO that she has already tried her best to apply all certificated she needed? She had live in 2 provinces in China, so she also needs 2 certificates to prove her criminal record in 2 provinces respectively. I am afraid she can not get all those certificates successfully.
Hopefully there is someone one who can help me resolve the above dilemma.
Thanks !!
