REFUSED 4 tier visa - and NO REFUSAL NOTICE ???!!!

Hey guys,

I received the decision e-mail on friday 1st September. I recollected my Passport from VAC on Tuesday 5th September, only the passport and the documents checklist were there. No visa and no refusal notice.

I called UKVI on Wednesday and they said I will receive it in 6 business days and that sometimes it happens that you don't receive the letter with the passport.

I waited till today and called again, the officer said he will escalate and that i will get a reply within 3 weeks but my last joining date for my course is 9th of October and i need the refusal notice to get a new CAS and apply again.

Does everyone has any idea about what's happening ??

8th August- application forwarded to UKVI
31th August - decision has been made

I have no idea what you mean by a non straightforward email :/

Which says " the processing of your application hasnt been straightforward " whens your course date? Are you gonna make it this year or will defer it to january intake

No, I just checked and I didn't receive anyhting like that.
My latest join date is 9th of October, I still have a slim chance of being there in time. Otherwise I might defer.
