Any rules changed for Switching to Tier2 General?

Hi Manci,

Need your help in below clarification.

I'm planning to switch my visa from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General. My Tier2 ICT was granted on March 13th 2011 which qualifies Tier2 (Intra-Company Transfer: Established Staff), under the Rules in place before 6April 2011.

I believe that I'm allowed to switch to Tier2 general but when I went through switch to Tier2 General rules of April 2017 no where it says that I can switch to Tier2 general and its not clear.

Could you Kindly clarify that switch is allowed or any rules changed as I couldn't get the clear picture.

If I'm allowed to switch from Tier2 ICT to Tier2 General do I need to pass the English language test?
