Hi Everyone,
I came to the UK in October 2010 as a student. In my final year of Uni, starting November 2012, I held a job with my Uni whilst studying and once I graduated and left my Uni job, I've held continuous employment.
I'm currently looking to get PR so I can then apply for Naturalization. I've just started the online version of the application and have come across the CSI requirement. As a lot of other people have experienced, I was never notified to a CSI requirement as a student - in fact, I was told the opposite.
My questions are as follow:
-Will the fact that I never held CSI completely disqualify me from getting PR?
-If not, when could I apply? Once it's been 5 years since my graduation? OR will I be able to apply in November 2017, once I've had employment for a full 5 years?
Your help would be very much appreciated! I'm quite worried about this issue - I can see that the CSI wasn't fully enforced until 2011, when I'd already been in the UK for about a year!
