Missing Information on Tier 2 General Extension application submitted

Hi ,
Could someone give me an insight what to do at my current status please? I do apologise for writing new topic within 12 hrs. I submitted my Tier 2 General Extension application online on 17th September and paid IHS and application fee. I sent original documents to Sheffield on 18th Sep 2017. I realised I haven't put my new COS number issued by Employer on the application. My visa is expiring today 19th September. Could someone guide me to take appropriate action on this please?

Wait for biometrics, the letter will come with a reference number. Reprint the form and write the correct cos number and send a covering letter stating what wrong u did and that they should attach the new form with the application

Thank you for your promt reply @iworker. Will the Home Office reject my application before sending Biometrics . Please correct if I am wrong as I believed Biometric Letter was sent after the application was submitted successfully.

No they wont. relax.
Biometerics is a process, where u receive a letter from home office to go to a post office and submit your finger prints. This happens with EVERY application, eveytime u apply.
That letter instructing u to give photo and finger prints will have a reference number. Write a covering letter and include that reference number to tell them that u mistakenly didnt insert the cos number and are resending the form with the correct number on
