Tier 2 applicant and limited company director while on Tier 5

Post by snickers85 » Wed Sep 20, 2017 3:24 pm

Hi everyone,

I worked for myself under a limited company while on Tier 5. I was the sole director and employee. I have now found a sponsor for Tier 2 and will be applying soon for my visa.

I see that in one of the questions it asks whether I am a shareholder of any UK company. I have started the liquidation process but it will take a few months so technically the answer is yes. I have stated this on the application form clarifying that I am under no form of employment in this company which will cease to exist. I have been striken off as an employee from the company. Do you think it will give them grounds to reject my application? Thank you for your advice.

Worried.
