Experience of turnaround times for SS application

Hello,

We made a SS application for an EEA family permit for my non-EU wife. We have both resided in Germany for 4-5 years, living together over 2 and always employed in the IT sector.

The application was made in Munich and received by UK border agency on 7th September. I know it's not too long ago, but i'm interested if anyone has done a similar process recently and how long the turnaround has taken?

The government website shows 100% EEA Family visa cases resolved in 15 working days, but I have read some other cases that have been longer than that.

One concern is that I am being requested to fly on business and my passport is currently with UK border agency as a part of my wife's permit request.
