MN1 form or S2 or S3 form

Hi Guys
I was filling the form for my son for citizenship but i found in question it says, if your child stateless please fill S2 or S3 form
as my child hasnt got any passport or any registration from my back country should i use S2 form or still MN1
i was thinking once he gets his citizenship then i will apply for my back home country passport
please advice

Not having a passport doesn't mean that child is stateless. Child has the same nationality as yours & you should use form MN1.

Child does not necessarily have the same nationality. Depends on the law of the country concerned. Many U.K. born children are stateless.

However- MN1 is still the correct form when applying for British citizenship through standard routes (example- registration under section 1(3) of the Act). Only if applying on the basis of statelessness would a form S3 be used.
