FLR(M) extension - 11 month delay

We submitted spouse visa extension Application for my wife after she completed 33 months visa . The application was submitted last year 5 November 2016 and Biometric was done on 01-12-2016 and since then we are waiting . It's 10 months completed now . We contacted Homeoffice call center so many times and they are not giving us any Timeframe. Our local MP also contacted for us but same answer to them as well. NoTimeframe and says Application is complicated ... really frustrated now ...we have completed all the requirements.. Our income requirement is more than £18600. We have got British child together and are living in 2 bedroom flat .... have complete genuine relationship and my wife had recently passed test in UK Homeoffice approved center ...
Home office is not giving reply ... can you please suggest what to do ?... How long more can they take ? Have you seen any cases like this ? ... can we do something about it ? ...
Really upset about it as my wife can't travel and there are so many things like weddings and also she missed my father death ceremony ... also her father is not feeling well she needs to go and meet him in case something happens to him ...
