ICT Tier 2 Dependant child BRP collection delay

Hi,

I have been unable to collect my infant child's BRP as at first I wasn't aware that I needed authorization to collect. I already have a valid BRP. We entered UK on 18th Sep, attempted to collect BRP on 24th Sep. I then requested nomination through the tool on the gov.uk website on 25th Sep. But I got reply like below-

Good afternoon,
Thank you for your enquiry.

This in-box cannot be used to apply for someone to be authorised to accompany you to collect your BRP
You must apply using the reporting tool available at:

https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/collect

We advise future travel arrangements should not be made before the BRP has been collected.

I'm not sure what they mean because that's exactly how I requested authorization. I've raised another request and waiting.. The vignette expires on 6th Oct and with only a week left will this be a problem in collecting BRP if I don't get authorization before vignette expires?
