Hello, I (Italian citizen) am currently living in the UK with my non EEA wife who holds a residence card of a family member of EU citizen, soon her minor daughter will join us in the UK. We are planning a holiday in the Schengen Area (Netherlands). My wife does not require visa holding that card but her daughter does. Should the visa be issued free of charge without health insurance and proof of accommodation?

The daughter of your wife is a family member of a eu citizen due to eu directive 2004/38 and therefore the visa is free and no health insurance is needed.
