Hii all, i have a question for my sister. She was here last year for msc. unfortunately she failed in one exam and her visa was expiring before the next date of exam. She asked university to give issue CAS so She could sit in exam and got back home . But they were not willing even after we did show them on website of ukvi it does say if student us resittigg in exam student should get CAS. They were so stubborn they did not give. So my sister went back before visa expires. Now to give exam she should come back accoriding to university. So she got CAS and recieved visa yesterday. Visa is 4 month validity only. She is coming to finish her one semester as last time she couldnt pass her one exam. So now she has to do re-module. As of university staff although the CAS was for four months but as it was her last semester plus the orignal course was for 12months she should have got it for 4 months re-module. Plus four months extra for her wait final results and graduation date.
But unfortunately it is for 4 months only. Homeoffice made a mistake in understanding tht the whole original course is for 12 months. She did not get any letter or anything with passport. Jus passport with visa stamp. Now this is very upseting for parents that they are sending their child again for re module and cant even see her graduating. Even paying 20,000 pound for good university. What is she doenst pass. Pleae please help what can be done. She cant always go back and come . Thats so much hassle and waste of money.
Please please suggest . Will be grateful to all of u for ur help.

So what's the dates listed on your sisters CAS exactly? There's a CAS issued date and the End Date on the CAS. What's that.

She needs to query the length of the visa with the issuing post. Her university can probably help her liaise with them via their Premium Account Manager. Tell her to contact the international student adviser at the university.

That is disappointing. Which university? And did she definitely speak to the international student adviser, as opposed to say the administrator who issued the CAS?
UKVI grants the leave, but only based on what the university has asked for in their CAS. In this case, UKVI appears to have not noticed (or ignored) the original course start date. I am surprised the university is not willing to query this error, but she can still query it herself. See

She should contact the international student adviser at her university again and ask for advice. If they don't advise, she should speak to someone more senior.
It isn't something you or I can help her with.

now jus few seconds back she received another email from home office ..
further to our previous emails, the techniqal team have now resolved the issue preventing the production of ur BRP. YOur brp has been produced on 03 october 2017 and will available for collection on 10th October 2017.
The brp must be collected from the collection point on your decision letter. ( she dint even receive any letter) with her passport. .
this is very strange.
