Hi,
I am just starting an application for my Colombian fiance (we plan to marry and live in the UK) so I am looking for some help on proof of relationship and finance documents. We are going back to Colombia together at the end of Oct so the plan is to pay for the 2-week fast service in the hope that she can fly back with me.
We met in Jan 2015 and I spent 9 months with her in Colombia. She has stayed with me in the UK via 2 tourist visas for about 11 months (6 months 2016, 5 Months 2017). I have also visited her in Colombia a number of other times inc. 3.5 months at the start of this year.
We have flight bookings & tourist visa stuff for her visits as well as us visiting friends and family in the EU together so we can easily show spending time but I am not sure what to do about calls/emails/skype etc..
Proof of relationship
Letters, Skype chats etc
We do have emails but more forwarding documents etc rather than 'love letters' as we pretty much use whatsapp to keep in touch. Most of it is a mix of maybe 60% Spanish & 40% English. If I include messages do I need to have all of the messages officially translated? Seems like that is a nonstarter
I also don't have chats going back that far due to broken phones and a lack of backups.
Company in Colombia
I own a company in Colombia and she has helped look after it for me in an unofficial capacity although she does take a wage and when we go back in Oct I plan to add her to the company in a legal capacity. So we can show this as a link too. Should I demonstrate this so or does it just look like a business arrangement and/or complicate things?
Photos
Is it OK to put a few photos together on 1 A4 page with a description of who and where?
Pregnancy
She is 3 months pregnant with our first child. Should I include evidence of this or again does it raise more questions?
Finance (Company Director/Self-Employed)
My income is clear of the requirements and I have 3 SA302s from HMRC stating my earnings for the last three tax years plus I plan to add in the actual tax returns too and a letter from my accountant. Do I still need to include 6 months payslips as most of my income is through dividends?
Sorry for the silly questions, any advice you can offer would be much appreciated
Many Thanks
Mark
