Regarding absences in the UK

Post by moldovanarch » Tue Oct 03, 2017 6:15 pm

Hello,
I kindly like to get some clarity regarding absences under section 2 (2.2) of the AN application form.

I got my PR as non-eea family member last year October 2016 and will be due for my naturalisation application next week monday 9th October.

My husband who is a Romanian citizen, his now a British citizen (acquired by naturalisation this year June 2017)

In section 2 (2.2) of the AN application form, it asks to detail absences for the past 5 years but only 3 years absences if married to British.

In my case, should I detail only 3 years as my husband is now a British, although only for few months. And will my application be considered as british citizen spouse or as EEA permanent resident?

If considered british spouse for the purpose of the application, do I need to fill section 2.4 with my PR details?

Thanks
