Either. If she applies in the UK, you will need to wait until she has the outcome of the application before you apply as her dependant. What guidance are you using? Only documents 1 and 3 are relevant. If you and your wife have been living apart, it will be useful to have evidence of ongoing contact.
I do not have guidance. I will do the application myself. I think documents 1 and 3, documents required for a generally dependent visa. Does my wife have to take a letter of recommendation for me from university? Is this a different document than the CAS document?
