English exemption

Post by harirao08 » Thu Oct 05, 2017 12:01 pm

Morning,

Just wondering you could clarify my confusion. my wife visa(spouse dependent visa) will expires in next month. She initially granted visa on English exemption as she got a bachelor’s degree from India. My confusion is, done she still get an English exemption with her bachelor’s for her extension?

Regards
Hari

You will need to provide UK Naric (red route) certificate.

Academic qualifications
You can prove your knowledge of English if both:

you have a degree or academic qualification that was taught or researched in English
your qualification is recognised by UK NARIC as being equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree
 or higher
You’ll need to send a certificate from UK NARIC confirming this when you apply.
