EU(EFM) OR ZAMBRANO???

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum.

I need help on my current application situation:

I have applied for a Zambrano DRF1 application for me and my wife as we are caring my wife's first cousin who is a british citizen.

My wife cousin came to live with us from America but he is a British Citizen, His mother died last year and father is unable to provide him enough care after all his hard work, As a result boy is behind to his age's other boys. He does not have any siblings in USA and since his mother death he always wanted to live with us as we have 2 kids of his age who goes along very well with him. Now he is our family member and he does not want to go back to USA, His father gave us ''NOTARIZE AUTHORIZATION'' for his care. he goes to same school with my kids and he is very happy. HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY OTHER RELATIVES IN UK OR EU.

I submitted Derivative Residence application and recieved COA and biometric but home office did not gave us permission to work, Saying its because we are extended family member.

I am now confuse whether Home Office going to take our application as Derivative application or EEA (EFM) and what will be the outcome.

I have provided relationship proofs(Birth Certificates), Social Worker's letter saying boy is living with us and happy, childs father's letter and other documents.


Please help me as you always doing to all.
