EEa Child born abroad 10 years in UK.

Post by andrekauffman » Thu Oct 05, 2017 11:35 pm

Hi guys, hope you are all good. If someone can help, would be much appreciated.
I just applied for my British naturalization and will be a long waiting but lets just say all goes well.
I got PR last October 2016 ( resident status since September 2011 ) I came first in 2006. ( Italian Citizen )
My wife got her BRP in February 2017. She came in March 2007 along with my son.

My boy is 13 years old. He was born in Brazil. I brought him to UK in March 2007. First I applied to him 5 years residence card. In 2012 I got his Italian Citizenship and passport.
So he has been living in UK for 10 years now ( 10.7 months ).
After I applied for my naturalization I found out that I could apply his naturalization with me but it was to late.
Is there any way I can apply his naturalization after I get mine? ( considering my naturalization go through )
If yes, what form should I use ?

I appreciate it.

You can register him as a British citizen provided your application is successful, your child has a PR document and his mother is at least a permanent resident.
