TB test needed for visa?

Post by IndianInUK94 » Fri Oct 06, 2017 8:09 am

Hello, I studied in the Uk for my masters degree. I was there in UK from September 2014 to January 2016. As far as year 2015-16 is concerned, I was present in the UK for more than 200 days. Only during a period from 15 May to 23 June 2015 I was in India. Rest period I was in the Uk till January 2016 when I left for India as my student visa was about to expire. So was I Uk resident for that year? Are international students Uk residents?

I'm again applying for tier 1 Graduate entrepreneur visa now. I'm not sure if I need a TB test again? I have been in India from 21 January 2016 till now. Do I need the TB screening? Or not?

I am not familar with the TB test requirements. But as long as you were on a valid Student visa, you were a resident for that period.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

I think you require a TB test again.
