Longterm visa options for EU4FAM

Post by broli » Mon Oct 09, 2017 1:06 pm

Last quest question of my series of essay  i hope someone bothers replying .

Longterm visa options for EU4FAM who couldn't get EU3 Approve and doesn't have citizenship

From Inis website i see the option i wonder if they are valid for people with EU4FAM situation after 92 months (the good news is most people got a citizenship before that length of time  )

Stamp 5 If you have 96 months reckonable residence you may apply to Residence Division for a Stamp 5. Details here.

Stamp 5 indicates permission to stay in Ireland without limits on the time you can remain here, subject to other conditions. Stamp 5 is reckonable as residence when applying for citizenship by naturalisation.
The stamp will be valid up to the expiry date on your passport.

Are EU4FAM holders eligible apply for a stamp 5 after 8 years.

cheers

I think they are eligible as long as they have ''reckon-able'' 8 yrs residency. EU FAM is also considered ''reckon-able''.
