Tier 2 Extension Query

Post by Mary6283 » Mon Oct 09, 2017 7:09 pm

Hello everyone,

I am currently in a process of extending Tier 2 visa, and waiting for a decision.
Basically I've applied to a wrong category, and "ONLY" paid £677 initially on 10th August 2017 (it was down to the advise I got from my employer). However, my employer issued CoS for the duration of just over 3 years, and Home Office sent me a letter on 30th September 2017 stating I needed to pay an extra £677. They withdrew the extra payment from my bank account on 6th October 2017, and now I am waiting for the decision.

My question is - if any of you have gone through such situation - how long did you wait for the decision to be made?

I have a family commitment back in my home country in November and I really have to get my passport back in order to make it...

Many thanks in advance.

Hi

From similar experiences which I've read through here in the forum, I can confirm that this is normal delay nowadays. And unfortunately, you might have to wait longer, some members took them 4 months to know about the decisions (which is mostly positive).

I understand it's very stressful, but you'll have to wait..
Other members can confirm.
