Spouse visa to Spain

Post by Razansml » Mon Oct 09, 2017 9:04 pm

Hello,
I am very concerned about my situation.
I am a Syrian resident in the UK under tier 2 sponsorship visa.
I married a Spanish National who lives in spain.
I need to find the best way to get the visa to Spain, knowing that I will be handing my notice in a couple of days' time.
Am I supposed to get a tourist visa and apply for residency there? If not, how do I apply for residency from here. And how long does it take.

Please help!
Thanks

You've probably left it far too late - i reckon you'll need to apply formally outside Spain and that's almost certain to be months, not weeks.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply. What for you mean left it late?
Leave what late?
We only got married 2 weeks ago. And the papers are with the Spanish consulate to register the marriage in the Spanish government.
Thanks
