opinions on flrm application

Post by C.Radley » Fri Feb 29, 2008 2:03 pm

I've just posted a topic about FLRM processing times, which I'm still curious to hear people's experiences with, but also, I would like people's opinions.

As mentioned before, I married my Taiwanese wife at the end of last year and have provided all of the documents required but one thing we've wondered about is that I'm a full-time HE student (I'm 28, she's 26) that does work part-time and earns good money for the part-time work but also receives Higher Education grants and loans. Do you think this would affect the application?

We believe we meet the other requirements (have our own flat, etc) and don't believe student funding falls under the category of receiving public funds. In any case all documents have been provided showing proof of income.

Any opinions?
