ILE spouse visa

Post by orsino2olivia » Tue Oct 10, 2017 10:53 pm

Hi, I have Indefinite Leave to Enter(ILE) spouse visa granted May 2015. ILE visa was stamped in my passport and it has expiry date in 2019 ( the same date as my passport expiry ). I was out of UK from June 2016 to December 2016( 6 months ) . 2 questions ;
1. Do I need to do anything about that ILE visa stamped on my Passport in the UK (e.g change to ILR visa on passport or BRP )?
2. When can I apply naturalisation? (My husband and child are British Citizens )

Many Thanks

1. No, unless applying for new employment or new rented accommodation after expiry date.
2. After 3 years residence in the UK, subject to requirements.
