Sending documents to Sheffield

Post by Happyharry87 » Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:34 am

Hi everyone

I can’t sleep and I have just realised that the supporting documents that need to be submitted have to be sent to Sheffield for Turkey also. Previously we thought they were scanned so I sent them all to my fiancé (oops as I am going to have to get some of them sent back). Fiancé visa is part of settlement, correct?

My question is do both passports get submitted at the visa application centre or do I submit the old passport as evidence in the supporting documents and the new passport is brought to the appointment? Also do I need to submit a copy of my fiancé’s passport in the evidence or does he take the copy with him?

On the TLS Connect website it states that the documents should be arranged in this order:

-Application form and Appendix 2
-English language evidence
-Relationship documents
-Maintenance documents
-Accommodation documents

Does the financial evidence ie my payslips, P60, employment letter and bank statements go in the maintenance documents - is that correct? Which section do the introduction letters and our intention to marry go? Also where does my passport page and passport sized photo go?

Thanks :-)

Hi everyone

I'm sorry, both your posts are confusing. Are you posting as

Applicant (Turkish fiance) or
Uk sponsor

I'm assuming you are UK sponsor.

All documents will be required to submit to Sheffield.

Your fiance will only need to take
Current and previous passports
Appointment confirmation
Visa, priority, IHS fee receipts
Application form printout

Fiancé visa is part of settlement, correct?
yes

Applicant passports will be submitted at the day of biometrics at visa centre.
Sponsor will need to send certified copy of their current passport to Sheffield.

after the application form (signed by applicant) and appendix 2 you can add cover letters, passport copy of sponsor.
Applicant photograph (sponsor photograph is not required)

Your intention to marry and any evidence of wedding planning can be added to relationship documents

Also please keep all your questions in one thread as it's related to 1 application (fiance visa) as it's easier for members to understand your queries and can answer better

Thanks :-)

Hi
Thanks yea I am the UK sponsor.

Sorry I didn't know I had to keep in one post.

Thank-you for providing me with that information - that is really helpful.

How do I get my passport certified? By whom? And do I need to submit a full copy of the applicants previous and current passport in the evidence to Sheffield?

Thanks

you're welcome.

you can get it certified by a solicitor also I think post office does it too but ask them before getting it certified.

yes biometrics page and all stamped pages of applicant current and previous passport

Also do send complete photocopies of all documents as sometimes they retain the copies.

Thanks
