i am a mother of a british national child how can i apply for visa

i am a divorced mother living in pakistan. my son is a british national having british passport. its getting really difficult to apply for visa. i want to take him to uk for his better future and better education. i dnt want permanent residence there for myself but i want permissiion to stay for him as his father is married there n has kids. i have no relation or contact with his father and i have no one to support me financially so how can i apply for visa please guide me in a easy way.
